CONNECTING EXTERNAL DEVICES

Connecting a DVD or Digital Set-Top Box

For best result , use this connection if your DVD

player or digital set-top box has component video

(Y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr ) jacks.

To watch a DVD or a broadcast from a set-top box

using, the connection configuration shown above,

press the SOURCE button on the remote control

repeatedly to select COMPONENT as the input

source.

You can use the S-Video terminal when connect-

ing a VCR and other audio visual equipment (if

there is an S-VIDEO output on the VCR. If there

isn't, use the VIDEO (AV) terminals).

If use the S-Video terminal to connect other

equipment, please follow below instruction:

1. Press MENU to display the MENU screen.

2. Press / to move the cursor to "Features", then

press .

3. Press / to move the cursor to "AV connec-

tions" item, then press .

4. Press / to select S-Video.

5. Press EXIT to exit.

To watch a VCR image, select "AV" using SOURCE

button on the remote control or front panel.

If both AV and S-Video cables are connected,

S-Video has high priority in AV mode.
