V-Chip Function (Parental Control)

This function prevents children from viewing materials that may be inappropriate for minors due to violent

and/or sexual content.

Restriction of programs includes two ratings that contain information about the program: the Movie

Ratings (MPAA) and the TV Ratings (TV Parental Guidelines). The Movie Ratings is restricted by age. TV

Ratings are restricted by age and content.

Since a TV program may use either the TV Ratings or the Move Ratings ,both should be adjusted for

complete control.

Example 1:

PG-13 in the age-based rating system is blocked,

this will also automatically block the higher rating

Sleep Timer Function

You can set the Sleep Timer to automatically turn off the TV.

Directly setting the Sleep Timer using the remote control

1 Press the SLEEP button to display the Timer

screen.

2 Press / button to set the sleep timer (in

minutes), the timer can be set from 15 min-

utes up to 120 minutes (Off > 15 >30 >60 >.

90 >120 ).

3 Press EXIT to close the menu screen.

1 Press MENU to display the

MENU screen.

2 Press / to move the

cursor to Feature menu,

then press .

3 Press / to move the

cursor to the Timer item, then press .

4 Press / to set the sleep timer (in minutes). The time can be set 15

minutes up to 120 minutes.

The Sleep timer is turned off when Off is displayed.

5 Press EXIT to close the menu screen.

In PC mode, the SLEEP button is invalidity.
